This home's original layout had a separate living room from the kitchen and dining giving an unnatural setup. It was in need of a new arrangement where a great room could replace the existing bedroom and the existing living room would become the new third bedroom.
Below shows the process from knocking out walls, tearing up floor, laying down white oak hardwood, and putting up trim and paint. All that's left are the few finishing touches currently on hold as the home owner decides final colors and design.
The Process:
The [almost] Finished Product:
contemporary entryway hardwood pattern and banister
the new 'great room' layout with hardwood, wainscot, and area rug
the completed entryway with tall baseboard, contemporary flooring pattern, and wall collage
